Being physically active now may help you stay more independent in the event of a stroke.
Researchers determined this after looking at how well older adults performed various tasks over a 14-year period.
They found that stroke survivors who were less active before they had a stroke were less likely to drive, shop, cook or houseclean afterward than than those who had been
